Just to let you know, it does not matter how big or small the damage is. The insurance company will always ask you “Is the damage smaller than a dollar bill” If it is smaller than a dollar bill, they will always try to steer you to a repair instead of a replacement, BUT IT IS ALWAYS YOUR CHOICE to choose a replacement over a repair. Just let them know you DO NOT want to see the repair in your windshield.

REPAIR: A windshield is two pieces of glass pressed together with a plastic laminate in the middle. A chip is the point of impact with air trapped between two pieces of glass. To fix it, we put a vacuum on it to extract all of the air and fill it with an epoxy resin. The damage does not disappear! You will see it and the resin we inject magnifies and refracts the light like a magnifying glass or a crystal hanging from your rear view mirror. Although we guarantee the repair will not spread, the guarantee is written “when it spreads, we credit you the amount paid towards a new replacement” Repairs are temporary and it is always the weakest point in your windshield.

REPLACEMNET

We use the same original manufactured piece of glass that came with your vehicle. We do not use “aftermarket” windshields and have a mobile unit to come to you with a LIFETIME warranty on ALL workmanship and defects in your new windshield.
